What's wrong with sniping? The game has sniper rifles for a reason and it's not like you wouldn't encounter snipers in the kind of places the game is set.

That's why my only console FPS is MAG, this can't happend with 256 ppl around, you can't just camp somewhere and cash in more and more kills, you have to move, think, adapt and work in a team.

idk what ur talking about, everything is pretty fine on psn for the most part, snipers will always be the same because they are snipers, so what you do is sneak up past them and knife them in the back...all i can say is get a buddy and play better, me and my friend can take down a whole team by ourselfs...all you really need is a good 4 people and the game is your if you play it right

I really hate when people complain about snipers and campers. Jesus christ. Its a game. If that is how they do best. Then let them do that. You have to evolve to be able to counteract their sniping and camping. Stop complaining and figure out a way to kill them. Every day in recent memory there is always someone complaining about this. It has always been going on. Modern warfare in general is about hiding and sneaking so you don't get killed. Go play Halo.

Dude, we're not complaining about snipers on the opposing team, as much as we're complaining about snipers on our own teams. See, some people think that you can win a match by sitting back and sniping, when you need to get in the action if you want to win. It's fine that some people snipe, some do a good job of it too, but there are way too many who try to sit back and win by camping, which is going to lose you the match.

If snipers are this bad, why don't games just not have snipers in them if so many people hate them?

Online gamers ruin online gaming, no matter the platform. It's unfortunate, but it's unavoidable on the big services. I've only seen a very few games ever manage to avoid it, and I suspect this is largely because they avoid the tropes that the typical "online gamer" likes.

I still have to start the single player campaign in this game, let alone the multiplayer. Doesn't sound very promising if it's more of the 'sniping and camping' of MW2

Seeing your teammates act like idiots is frustrating and spoils the fun. In a game where you need to rely on teamwork, seeing many people on your team fail to do provide good teamwork is annoying.
