And it's true, GoW3 was nowhere near as hyped as Modern Warfare 2. Or, indeed, Uncharted 2. The lack of hype is actually quite surprising.

Not in the slightest.

Part of it is to do with the holiday, but we had a good 12 Uncharted 2 threads on the front page of Sony Discussion as we came to release date. With God of War III, we have around 7, and half of them are review threads.

7 is below Killzone 2!

Killzone 2 still takes the cake. We had around 20 threads floating around at one point. I went on a locking spree to help clear up the clutter, and got a lot of complaints as a result. Mostly from fanboys convinced I was only locking threads negative about the game. xD

Hopefully it'll happen again with GoW3, because that's a good sign.

Just woke up to find all these reviews. I knew not to get excited about IGN's 'rumour leak'. 94 on metacritic is still very very good :D .
