This.

Continuity issues and plot holes are in pretty much every movie released today.  For one as incredibly minor as that, I'm surprised they got the name of the console right that the game appears on.

Harry Potter films aren't set the same years as the books.

Harry Potter takes place in an alternate universe where people have magical powers they should have PS5's already :)

Hurt Locker at the Academy Awards Sunday night, won six Oscars.

Now what angers me the most is this. The film is set in 2004. It says so at the beginning of the film. But, that doesn't stop one of the actors Owen Eldridge from getting an Xbox 360. If i'm correct, xbox360 wasn't out until November 2005.

Eldridge uses his Xbox 360 to play Gears of War, that wasn't out until 2006.

discuss!

really that bothers you? movies have continuity errors like this all the time. So what,it's just a dam movie.

That... doesn't make even a slight difference. That movie was still excellent.

I know you were probably just trying to be a smart ass, but I'm gonna go ahead and say this doesn't bother anyone. Continuity issues are in most movies.

What bothers me a lot more that they still associate violent video games with real life violence, when the two are almost always completely unrelated.

I knew that as well. The PS1 did come out in 1994... in Japan. The Dursleys might have imported. Or you could ... get over it.

Also I know the movie begins in 2004, but there are a lot of jumps in time. Is there any notification later on in the film that it's still 2004 and not a later year? It's been a while since I've seen it, and I'm not so anal about these things so I tend not to notice them.

you want an explanation? ok.

It won so many awards. critics say its a "near perfect" movie. near perfect huh?

yet they miss bloopers like this. It's just too obvious. I mean c'mon!

Best Picture Winners' IMDB "Goofs" Pages:

Slumdog Millionaire

No Country For Old Men

The Departed

Let me know how far you want me to go back. I don't think there's a movie in existence that doesn't have a laundry list of mistakes on IMDB. Like it's been said previously, it's not a big deal.

If you have a gripe with historical inaccuracies, it's probably a good thing for you that Inglorious Basterds didn't win!
