Look at this:

1998-1st Generation of Pokemon Games are released: Red, Blue, Yellow (1999)
2000-2nd Generation of Pokemon Games are released: Gold, Silver, Crystal (2001)
2003-3rd Generation of Pokemon Games are released: Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald (2005)
2004-Remake of 1st Generation of Pokemon Games are released: FireRed and LeafGreen
2007-4th Generation of Pokemon Games are released: Diamond, Pearl, Platinum (2009)
2010-Remake of 2nd Generation of Pokemon Games are released: HeartGold and SoulSilver (March 14th)

Leaks of the new pokemon from the 5th gen are being released and it is expected to hit around 2011. Along with this would come the new remake of the old pokemon and Ruby/Sapphire is next. Can you imagine that? It is so weird to me, I still remember playing those a few years ago.

Then they would remake Diamond and Platinum?

Wouldn't the pattern eventually come together and they would be remaking the same game they're currently making?

And the universe would explode. Quick, get a sledgehammer and go destroy Nintendo!

No, maybe that hit Japan about Sep~Nov. 2012, and maybe will be for Nintendo DS2, I hope so. if so it was good graphics and very nice sound.

What i want though, is a lack of Remakes in between gens. And bring me my Pokemon MMO!

... Too bad these remakes will include the scum such as Zorua and Zoroark.

I'm not as big a fan of this generation, as the others. I don't particularly know why, but it stands out to me as the black sheep of the main Pokemon series.
