I'd like to see it slim down and run as quiet as my PS3 slim does.

If anything the 360 needs a new fan. It's still too loud. And it still has a slightly dodgy build quality feel. The original Xbox felt really solid and well built, the PS3 same but pick up a 360 and you can hear squeaks and moving parts.

How could they slim it down? The power supply isin't even in the casing so i don't know where they are going to get this space from to shrink it down.

Microsoft has denied a revision of any kind to their "well built" console. RROD says hi, even though the Jasper chip is supposed to reduce RROD it still happens alot.

they should redesign, like bundling natal into a the console, but microsoft dont have engineering muscle to do it.

360 slim is a possibility, and the sales would be higher and all of it unless M$ makes a move.

With a new era of Free Xbox Live, I would buy it.

how so?  They could do a smaller HDD to go with a slim and just sell an attachment to make them fit in older models.  Makes sense to me and sounds like something microsoft would do.
