Forums - Nintendo - Take-Two - NHL 2K on Wii is a hit with Canadians, 2K 11 goes Wii-exclusive

The NHL 2K series is taking a bit of a break on the PS3 and 360. You would think that would spell certain death for the Wii version, but it's quite the opposite. Believe it or not, the Wii version is actually picking up steam, with the most recent outing finding quite a following among Canadian gamers. That's why NHL 2K11 is heading to the Wii only, with that soundtrack job listing pertaining to the Wii version. Traditional sports games succeeding on the Wii...I like it!

Hmm, I guess the WM+ helped quite a bit for 2K10, since 2K9 did quite horribly.

I wonder who is going to be on the cover this year?

Yeah. Hockey seems too niche to cover HD development costs (at least, I would imagine). This is a good move.

its official hockey is not a big 4 sport anywhere but canada anymore

and i for one love it!

but yeh pretty funny tbh, lets see madden do that

to me the only one that should be wii exclusive is tiger woods, cus its head and shoulders better on wii
