...according to Itadaki?! Must've done a ton in Platinum sales then, I thought it was only around a million?
Does this make DOA3 the best selling fighting game (without "Tekken" or "Smash" in the title) last gen then?

Virtua Fighter 4 and DOA 3 are probably neck and neck. VF4 prolly outsold it by a bit actually.
Not bad at all... too bad that the series went downhill

VF5's massive fall from grace makes me a little sad inside. :(
I really, really hope we get VF5R/FS on consoles. From the sounds of it, AM2 went a long way towards fixing the issues with the original release, and added tons of fanservice on top (Ulala costume!).

Eh, I'd say DOA4 is pretty easily the best in the series. DOA really didn't disappoint this gen imo, unlike VF, Tekken or Soulcalibur. Or Smash.

Its ok, they still delivered a top notch game. The fact it didn't sell is something the devs can't be blamed for... markets are shifting for fighting games. Tekken series can barely cover their heating bills by the looks of things and they used to sell 6 million.
