Agree 100%. I don't want Nintendo to be like every other developer which makes their trailers look like a movie instead of a fun looking videogame.

I'm not sure if normal age rules apply to Samus anymore. Didn't the Chozo remix some of their own DNA into her at some point? And who knows what kind of longevity treatments might be standard to Federation humans.

Voice acting not as terrible as in the intro, but it's still not very good. Even if it's an attempt at portraying her as a schizoid with flattened affect, it's unconvincing.

This is not Metroid. The text/dialogue reminds me of the worst excesses of JRPG narratives.

True. Could be like the Branded from Fire Emblem 9 & 10., that it interferes with the aging process.

I just couldn't see them making Samus a woman in her 50's either way, even if that doesn't equate to what 50s are like today...

Zzzzzzzzzzzz...Uh? It seems I slept during the trailer. Oh well... And they're transforming Metroid in a soap opera and a lot of people aren't going to care. Wasn't expecting much of the game anyway.

People as a whole cannot be satisfied. Somebody would moan if it was 'just a side scroller,' somebody would moan if it was more Prime and here we are with people moaning about a plot or whatever else. Can't we just see if the game plays well before we decide whether we're for or against it?

That's the problem. They've shoved us with 30 trailers about the "feelings" os Samus or other shit and very little gameplay. Metroid sucess was never due the history. Remember the epic plot twist in Metroid II of the gameboy? Or the other Metroids? Yeah, me neither.

Don't see the need in al lthe negativity, we need ti get hyped before seeign the gamplay and looking at movie trailer is the way to go, looking how beautiful it looks we can then guess the gameplay will be epic too.
