Though this trailer makes me ponder exactly how old Samus is supposed to be in the games, compared to how old she was at this point envisioned in the trailer. Figure 20-ish in the trailer and early 30's in the games?

I'm not sure if normal age rules apply to Samus anymore. Didn't the Chozo remix some of their own DNA into her at some point? And who knows what kind of longevity treatments might be standard to Federation humans.

True. Could be like the Branded from Fire Emblem 9 & 10., that it interferes with the aging process.

 

I just couldn't see them making Samus a woman in her 50's either way, even if that doesn't equate to what 50s are like today...
