A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Consider that $5 is the price of a meal at McDonalds.

Pretty much NO game can be so bad that it doesn't warrant a purchase at $5. You could end up loving it where others hated it, and it could be so bad it's good.

Mostly adventure games. Mario, Resident Evil games, specially Zelda, Okami... but Spectrobes is like a bad Pokémon game. And i dont like portable/rpg Pokémon games.
