I seriously don't know why people keep giving the guy so much attention, it's awkward. Everyone can pull some numbers and random percentages out of their asses.

why would wii hd come this year? isnt a new zelda coming out on the wii this year? one of their biggest games! there is no "wii hd"

You know what'll be funny/ironic? IF something as crazy as a Wii HD happens (especially THIS year of all times), the main discussion will be about how stupid it is or how premature it is and not at all about how the alley walls of our nations cities should be sprawled with the spray painted words 'PACHTER WAS RIGHT'.

I agree with the 4 years of no new consoles, though. Happily.

Pachter is awesome.

I used to hate him, but he is a very sympathic guy.

I can compare my own predictions to those of Pachter and walk away with a 3:1 ratio of being correct to his fallacy.

Despite his horrible track record, he's granted a receptive audience on the grounds of his educational background and as his position as one of the few in his industry to provide video game industry specific information.

In other words, he's given the spotlight by default; not due to quality industry projections, commentary and information.  It's a wholly unwarranted reception benefitted upon him by a lack of other options.

I think he really wants it himself, that's why he keeps saying it.
