There have been tons of RPGs released in the past ten years. So many that it's hard to even think of where to start when talking about them, but we dove into the ocean of titles and emerged with our top RPGs of the Decade. Unlike our typical year-end awards where we bestow glory and honor upon the games we believed were the best of the year, this listing is much more informal. Instead of picking the "best" RPGs of the Decade, as a staff we have selected our top RPGs:

1. Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3

Personally I'd put Persona 4 over Persona 3 but I can't begrudge them picking 3 instead. Since Final Fantasy got two entries perhaps Persona 4 should have been somewhere else on the list. Always nice to see Valkyria get a mention and the only one I don't really agree with being on the list would have to be Fallout 3, but that may be down to personal preference.

Decent list.

Where the hell is Oblivion that game clearly deserves to be on the list. Overall decent list but not the best one ive seen.

My thoughts -

Baldur's Gate 2 should be there.
Oblivion should be there.
Valkyria Chronicles is too low.

I agree with 4 of those. The rest are meh. Also, I have not played two of them.

Personally, I would remove Kingdom Hearts and replace it with the superior KH2. Also I would put Nocturne on the top spot.

Why no Valkyria Profile 2 or Disgaea? *sob sob sob*

The bolded are the only rpg's on the list.....so its a top 6?

I would have put FFX at the Top but otherwise great list!

Skies of Arcadia is missing from that list...pfft.
