You know this proves absolutely nothing. I doubt that Sonic is in MG2 but this does not disprove anything. He could be an unlockable player like Luigi or so forth any number of possibilities that are unlikely.

In order to disprove a statement from Nintendo will do. I for one don't care just hate bad threads.

I thought this rumour would be unlickely, I couldn't see sonic riding yoshi myself. Nor he wouldn't eat mushrooms. But maybe they would have put something in there special for sonic. Oh well at least we know now.
