Are you using Wifi? or an ethernet cable? maybe someone else has acces to your wifi..

3. Upgrade your internet.
4. Stop multiple users from accessing it at the same time.

Seriously, though, if you are using a lot of firefox addons or have facebook open, it tends to screw up video buffering and uses a lot of system resources.  Also if you have lots of antivirus stuff running at once that can happen.

Your problem is that you are using firefox. I always tell people to switch from IE to firefox, but for Video and overall speed firefox is the worst by far.

Try using Opera, Safari, Chrome (even IE) with any Video streams that are giving you trouble and see if you notice a difference. I can't even use YouTube without firefox crapping itself. It used to be the fastest smoothest browser, I don't know when or how this happened.

So yeah, keep only a few porn windows open at a time and you should be good.  The more you're downloading, the slower you go.

I don't think porn is the problem, but more specifically the type of porn. Stick to humans and you should be fine.

Maybe you should download more ram? 8gb is barely enough for web browsing.
