It is so blindingly obvious that Heavy Rain is a Prequel. In fact it's a pre-prequel, because the events of Heavy Rain occur well before the events of Halo: Reach. So, in reality Halo: Reach is not a prequel to Halo: Combat Evolved, rather it is the sequel to Heavy Rain.
What does this tell us? Halo: Reach is gonna port to PS3, and then all subsequent Halo games will be multiplat with primary development on the PS3 / PS4. It's the only possible conclusion, otherwise why have the definitive Halo prequel exclusive to PS3? This is also confirmed because, as reported by VGC news today, Sony people have already said that there will never, ever be any more exclusives starting from today (it must be true because it's on the internet).

Very solid reasoning tho I think you forgot something:
Heavy Rain = Flood = Weather condition = SE (Squall/Lightning/Cloud). FF15 confirmed now for multiplat, ending the Halo Story!

thanks! I only found it because I was reading everyone complain about the news article about FFXIII X360 having worse graphics than the PS3 counterpart. Honestly I think the news article is a bunch of crap and was made for hits, but that website has a lot of funny articles and the website goes back to about November 08.
Just another case of the ps3 being better than 360, but apparently Americans can't seem to figure out that ps3 is superior in every way.
