Forums - Nintendo - Top 5 most overlooked Nintendo Wii exclusives

There is no denying that these games are great and would have deserved better sales.

Excitebots isn't even out in europe. Two friends and myself would defenitely buy this game. Not interested in RPG, but I do own the other 3 and liked them really much.

I would replace excitebots with Castlevania Judgement

I disapprove of Zack & Wiki on the list. It was a hugely over hyped game. They could have made it infinitely better if it didn't take hours to walk across a stage after screwing up on the last challenge. The only good thing that came of this game is that I bought 2 copies for ~$7 each, and sold both of them for $20 over a year later.

Also, Nintendo overshadowing Nintendo's own title is rather humorous

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

I have Z&W and while I enjoyed it and it's an original and great use for motion control I don't really see it, or really, any of these as must own titles. They are overlooked but they also only cater to a particular taste.
You could also list
Pinball Hall of Fame
Vertigo
Geon Cube
Marble Saga
Mercury Meltdown (or was it Madness?)
Mini-Ninjas
Opoona
Dewy's Adventure
The Munchables
Sam & Max
Broken Sword
Monster Lab
and an extensive list of other games which didn't sell as well as they really should have but it's all according to people's taste.

The majority of Wii owners would sooner buy Monopoly or Deal or No Deal than Muramasa.

Personally the only game on that list I'll buy (at a budget price) is A Boy and His Blob. The rest don't appeal to me at all.

What about Radiant Dawn? I think that deserves to be on the list.

I own Muramasa, A Boy and His Blob, and Little King's Story... and they're all excellent games. Definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good time.

I plan on buying A Boy and His Blob one of these days. It's still on my Amazon Wish List. I do own LKS, Muramasa, and Z&W. I haven't opened LKS, but I do recommend the other two to anyone thinking about buying them.

Excite Bots: Trick Racing is criminally underrated. I absolutely adore that game and it's a shame the it wasn't released in Europe.

A game that should be on that list, but isn't is Wario Land: Shake It! It's sales were horrid considering how good it is.
