Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Virtual Boy to come back as a Wii acessory!

http://www.gonintendo.com/viewstory.php?id=114574

Would you want it?

Just came to my mind the idea of having the virtual boy goggles in my head, motion sensitive, whatever direction I would "look" it would follow me, and the wiimote in my hands plus wm+ would me enable to move my arms on the game 1:1...

More imersive than this you don't get. This is almost virtual reality!!!

It sounds pretty nice and now I am thinking about Zelda Wii with this. Or a FPS.

This would imply always a first person prespective?

Though I hope they can prevent gead aches. Or it will not be sucessful.

Tag:I'm not bias towards Nintendo. You just think that way (Admin note - it's "biased".  Not "bias")
(killeryoshis note - Who put that there ?)
Switch is 9th generation. Everyone else is playing on last gen systems! UPDATE: This is no longer true

Do Not Click here or else I will call on the eye of shinning justice on you.

50% says it's fake, 50% says it's just an add-on for 3D Tvs. Both are big failures in my book.

If Nintendo were to do this, they should remove the problem that caused the VB to fail, ( it only sold 770,000 WW!) headache was one of the biggest problem, and remove any eye straining problems.

Buying in 2015: Captain toad: treasure tracker,

mario maker

new 3ds

yoshi woolly world

zelda U

majora's mask 3d

Hopefully this one comes with 100% less color-blindness.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

After Iwata comments on how 3D goggles "suck" because it makes you dizzy after ~2 hours, this would have no such problems I guess.

Also this would make PS3 3D looks primitive right in the launch later this year

I would hate this. If you don't know how close you are to the Tv you could bash it or hit someone around you and it would just be another thing to buy when all I truly want is a new fire emblem, Zelda, fzero, and starfox game.

the thing would just be in your head, it doesn't mean you would need to get up and walk.

The purpose could only be to lean your head and turning it left or right so you would indepently change the camera on the game from where you are running to...

It my honest opinion this could be big!

Especially if other people can see a 2D version of the action on the tv while the player is viewing 3D in his goggles.

I know everybody is ALWAYS wrong about you, Nintendo, but the Powerglove is the BEST PERIPHERAL OF ALL TIME

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
