Well in other regions that is not so true, but even for America there are exceptions.

Saturn - May
N64 - September
GBA - June
PS2 - October
PSP - March

(I only went back to PS1, and it's a tie between those 6 above, and the Wii, PS3, X360, XB, GC and GBColor that came out in November)

In fact the PS3 is the first Sony console to come out in November in NA.
