Medium core :P

I generally play pretty casually, though I like building up strong pokemon with "perfect stats" and stuff to wreck my friends :P

Also MMO requester 'cuz I think it would be an incredible game if done right.

I want EV and IV training gone because it is hacked to hell and back and thus completely pointless if you want to go online 'just for fun' because you'll be fighting shiny legends with perfect EVs, IVs and move sets.

I also want a home console pokemon, not online, just what the DS has but in 3D with large worlds to explore.

No idea where I fit.

Well

No such thing as a real perfect moveset

I've seen setups using Smeargle and Magikarp that could probably kick the shit out of pretty much any setup you've ever made, Legendary or not. (I do not mean to imply that legendaries are universally good, either, because some of them are jsut ass-bitingly terrible)

My team is pretty awesome. It's nothing too complex... just an attack oriented Swords Dance/Baton Pass strategy. I always preferred hitting the opponent hard and fast, although my roommate had a team that reveled in taking opponents down slowly and steadily. It was fun to see our two distinct strategies clash (I usually won. )

Here's my awesome team! ^_^

I am closest to a fitting in to the nostalgia category -- only because I have Red, Blue, and Yellow to play -- and Pokemon Coliseum for the N64.

Unfortunately, I need to replace the battery in my red (lost 25 hours of game play).

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

I think you mean Pokemon Stadium.

Pixel Art can be fun.

I was never so hardcore as to learn and utilize the STAB's and all those stats regarding the nature of pokemon in newer games, i never went too far past analyzing the five main stats (HP, ATK, DEF, SP. ATK, SP. DEF) and weaknesses and resistances. Although I did analyze the hell out of those. I'm going to med school soon and at this point I can't be bothered being that detailed, now I just go for who's badass and rely on the basic stats. I'm not nostalgia either, I recognize the games getting better with time, even though my favorite is the original. I'm not soft either. The game is NOT over when the Elite Four is beaten. I try to catch them all every time, but have only done it in Red and Gold. Too many pokemon now and not enough time anymore.

That being said, I'm getting Heart Gold and intend to catch all 493+ pokemon in existence. I'm gonna try really hard this time, I've needed a Pokemon fix for a while now.....

EDIT: Nevermind, I do use STAB's lol.  But newer statistics like the nature of pokemon, etc. I don't. lol

I guess I will be mediumcore...i always look for pokemon with different types that can counter most teams...I rarely have legendary pokemon on my team...but I always have a Gyarados and an Alakazam on my team

I guess I would be a Nostalgist + MMO Requester + Mediumcore.

Is it possible to be in more than one category? If that's the case then I'm 60%-70% hardcore and 30%-40% mediumcore. But if I can only choose one then for me it would be hardcore.
