Awesome!

Great to see 3rd parties supporting the iPhone with it's unique controls and big userbase!

This will be awful with the iPhone's control scheme.

Tell me about it, it's really nice to see the support on full effect for the iPhone. I'm picking this on up on my iPod Touch.

I see what you did there

...but iphone has 2.5% of the phone market, ~17% of the smartphone market and nothing on any of the consoles or handhelds when it comes to game sales (ie. above free) or revenues...

Even the PSP software market is massive in comparison to the market for gaming apps.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

It's a growing market, and with Windows 7 Mobile coming later this year to feature Xbox Live, i'm sure Mobile gaming will take off dramatically.

It seems like it's like this all the time.

iPhone or PSP:
dev/publisher: "We are excited to see our software reach new audiences beyond what they could find on the HD consoles."

Wii:
dev/publisher: "Our software just wouldn't fit on this platform."

grumblegrumble

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I second that to the extreme.

Well at least tatsunoko is still exclusive...

Also those shitty touchscreen buttons make you put your hands all over the screen.

This is going to be awesome.  I love Street Fighter games.
