| Aprisaiden said: hmm -- i find it hard to believe that SONY would be foolish enough to report replacement shipments as "sales". I think its more likely that SONY is simply selling far more PS3's in area's that are hard to track for VGC and possibly even selling more consoles in Europe/North America then NPD/ GfK expects by selling consoles to non-traditional game retailers and non-NPD/ GfK tracked retailers. (not to mention NPD / Gfk cannot accurately track online console sales). Anyway ioi in future when just before you undertake a massive adjustments project like the one that is going on now, could you please make a post on the front page to warn users that a series of large adjustments are coming as it would help minimize the communities frenzied actions. |
Why in the hell should he???? The only people that whinge this badly are the PS3 fans, pure and simple, as proven when none of this hysteria has happened when the 360 and Wii have had massive negative adjustments. The simple fact is some people on this site need to grow up and either accept the figures for what they are or leave the site. Despite warnings to the contrary last week by ioi you're all still whinging about shipped vs sold figures AGAIN......
