Monday can't come soon enough...

I heard that the game is leaked. Some of the people I know at school already have the beta. They are also not going to be in school on Monday.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY

Either way I'm glad the pistol is how you describe it. Is evade the only trick the Elites can do? What's the deal with the radar, does it show different shades of red depending on where the enemy is vertically? At first I thought I would be using armor lock the most but I've been going back and forth between Halo and MW2. I find that I end up really missing the ability to sprint after playing MW2. I'm excited about all the abilities though cause I can think of so many varying scenarios where they will all be great. One more thing, did you get an avatar T-shirt yet? Or anything for playing Halo 2 the last day? |
The rhythm for the pistol is faster than the rhythm for the DMR.
As far as I know, Elites can use any armor abilities except Sprint and Armor Lock.
Enemies will show up darker on the radar if they are not on the same level as you.
I use Sprint more than anything else. Good for getting to weapon spawns quickly.
I have not gotten a t-shirt yet.

This is what I was kinda thinking too. I hope bumper jumper is still as dominant as a control scheme as it was before.
@ Jagged, thanks and I'll chill with the questions now. Maybe I'll catch you on the field of battle.
Today and tomorrow boys and girls, that's all we got left. I'll be rockin the MW2 til then, peace.
I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

I play bumper jumper in Halo 3 but I have switched to default for Reach. Jumping isn't as high in Reach so using it as an escape tactic doesn't really work anymore so I'm ok with it being on the A button. I mostly use sprint though and I need to be able to aim while I run so its important for me to have the abilities on left bumber so I never have to take my thumb off the analog stick.
I'm also going to up my sensitivity to 4 or 5 like I have for Halo:CE because there is no aim acceleration like in Halo 3 which allows for much quicker jerk responses to enemy movement.

Man I am getting donged on. I was decent at Halo 3, but I am terrible at this game. Rarely have a positive kill death. That could be due to the class of people playing now, or it could be that I have yet to get the hang of the game.
Also, feel free to ask any questions you want. No big deal to answer questions.
@Jagged
I love your sig, especially the left side, very impressive and colorful =P

I was average at first but now I'm consistently going positive and leading the team. Still not winning all my games though cause a lot of kids quit or don't know what their doing but I'm consistently out shooting kids. Aiming is much much harder, I physically get drained trying to play the game at a high caliber for extended periods of time. But there is a clear skill gap and its only going to get bigger as the game progresses.
I think once Arena Slayer opens grab bag will become a lot more relaxed and enjoyable for casual games.
