Breathtaking screenshots in Alan Wake. The attention to detail in the environments are amazing. The lighting effects and texture detail are awesome. Almost as good as real life.
We had some comments from SpartanFX. We need some from leo-j, CGIQuality, Squilliam and starcraft and the other big name posters on this site.
Great thread selnor I fully endorse this thread. Alan Wake looks amazing.

all i would say is that it looks pretty good...but can't be topping the graphics ever on console..just sorry to say so!! Remedy's effort shud pay off in the end.
Come on dude, this is getting ridiculous. You've said the exact same thing about Forza 3, Halo: Reach, and Mass Effect 2 in the last 3 months. This is just way over the top. You are starting to become a caricature of yourself.
Great images... but still below Splinter Cell and not the same level of Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2.

This looks awesome on the other hand.not comparable to uncharted since uncharted is bright and colorful but this is dark and has a scary vibe to it.but they are very fine examples of polished games. |
I have to say Mass Effect 2 for 360 looks NOTHING like that vid you posted. Someone either has a bad tv or messed around too much with the settings. YOutube cant show the beauty of the game but the fact that you picked that vid between all the others that look much better (for youtube) says enough.
The textures are pretty good. Ok, very good. And the lighting is as good as it gets. Will be interesting to see it in motion, it's looking damn good so far! Enough to dethrone Uncharted 2? (or Crisis for you PC ppl) I dunno. We'll have to see when it comes out.

Forza 3 I said best racer graphics. Reach I said best engine. Not best graphics in still shots, but definately the most demanding and best engine this gen. Double the enemies oinscreen. With the level of graphics shown is the most demanding tech yet.
ME2 was best visuals till Alan Wake comes out. Alot of reviewers agreed.

You think 360 fans are tired?
I get so so many PM's asking me for new threads. Asking me to turn the tide of this ones sided website. ( Not my words actual PM's to me ).
If anything I cant keep up with these guys on VGChartz.
As for threads. PS3 fans need to grow up. They post a PS3 exclusive thread about best graphics on consoles and noone bats an eyelid, because it's a huge sony orientated site. But they all of a sudden cant handle it when the 360 pumps this out. In fact 360 is embarrising PS3 graphically this year.
