For a game like MAG, its surprising it has sold so many copies (nothing against MAG, just the community its geared towards).

40 million registered accounts. Well I know I have 2 (the one I use for gaming and another for "I cannot be bothered times"). Im sure many people do this sort of thing as well.

All in all, Good job Sony. Keep up the goodwork and good things will follow.

According to NPD Mag sold less than 170k on USA, like 25k on Japan and 300k+ on the rest of the world?

Those are probably shipped numbers... still not bad for MAG, it could become a multi-million selling franchise over time Uncharted 2 sales are great to, just that those where expected after the ultra-positive critical reception and huge add campaign
