Why does vgchartz take so long to load now days? Most sites take about 1-2 seconds to fully load but VGchartz takes about 4 or 5 seconds to load the core content and about 7 or 8 seconds to fully load so you can navigate the page. Is this because of all the advertisement and stuff or is something wrong? It's kind of annoying. I know 7 or 8 seconds isn't much but but it adds up. It makes me not want to visit the site/forums so much. 

I haven't noticed it that much. How fast is your computer and your internet speed?

Well I noticed before Christmas there were 2 background images loading.

I guess it depends on your computer speed, I haven't noticed anything lately. Do you use any ad/popup blocker?

I have that issue too, suddenly, there is freezing and it takes a lot, it happened since yesteray afternoon

Been happening to me for awhile. Doesn't help that BT is garbage and nobody (Council, IP providers. I don't know who's in charge) bothered to fit Fibre Optic wires in my street so were all stuck at 2Meg Max.

Pretty sure there is no fibre cables down my street but I get about 4Meg (it's Virgins base package asfar as I know [I don't pay the bill])

same problem here, I've noticed it happens more with internet explorer
