Good job to MS but this is still a pretty small gap considering that the U.S is MS's home territory. It probably can't be like sony and Nintendo outselling 360 by such a big margin. Anyway, good for Sony as they are catching up in WW whihc is what matters since Europe and Japan are sony's big market.

We're not tools of the government, or anyone else. Fighting was the only thing... the only thing I was good at. But... at least I always fought for what I believed in.

First comes the little gap, then the moderate boost due to a fan favourite IP and maybe a small shipment of backwards compatible systems.

Then at the beginning of August comes the 360 is doomed speak for about a month, then comes "$50 drop won't do anything" then "everybody who wants Halo Reach already owns a 360" then the fun begins.

What a boring cycle, next-gen needs to start to break the predictablity of it.

I've been thinking this since the year started.

Sony fans need to calm down...just because they don't outsell the 360 in NA isn't that big of a deal. Sony has accomplished what it needed to do to be relevant in the console business again. The PS3 now has a solid base and will continue to sell well. What you need to realize is that the 360 has done the same thing and it too will continue to sell well. The recent numbers actually show a very healthy market, for the 360 and the PS3 to both be up YOY shows a general expansion of the console base.
