This thread needs more 3D Dinosaur Adventure.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

The obvious ones have been names in the thread already but there are a few classics that I truly loved, games that sadly aren't very famous:

Warlords II (turn based predecessor to Warlords Battlecry series)
Lords of the Realm 1&2 (spiritual predecessor to the Stronghold series)
Gabriel Knight II: The Beast Within (P&C SIERRA)
Conquests of Camelot (by SIERRA)
Dune II (quite famous actually)
Chronicles of the Sword (adventure in the Arthurian era)
Die by the Sword (Treyarch's first game, sword-fighting)

All LucasArts SHUMPs (Indiana Jones Fate of Atlantis; Day of the Tentacle; Sam and Max; The Dig; Full Throttle; etc)

SHUMPs?? Did you mean SCUMM games?

Also, it's interesting how many people from NA mention The Dig. I didn't know that it was that popular, but that's probably because I didn't like it.

Err...yeah, I meant SCUMM.  And yeah, The Dig wasn't as good as the others, but it was still okay.  That's kind of like saying the recent Telltale games are bad for not being as amazing as Day of the Tentacle or Indiana Jones: Fate of Atlantis.  But hey, you still enjoy what you can get.

Also, I think The Dig was made by a newer team in LucasArts that wasn't the same as the previous games (like Day of the Tentacle, etc).

I played some of those games but I never got into them, but not bad games.

OMG I had that game!

I've still kept the CD even though it's too scratched to play.

I LOVE ICELAND!

Oh  yea?

How about Dinosaur Safari? Played this game in school when I was younger!

age of empires 2 is incredible and i still recommend it, it might not have all the fancy graphics and what not but its a good game, aoe3 is great to but i wouldnt consider it a really old game yet, in a few years maybe.

Age of Mytholog and AOE2. Still like them.

These were my favorite RTS games along with Starcraft. I am hoping that Starcraft breathes some life back into the RTS catagory.
