So how many of you are going to show Heavy Rain to your parents to try to get them to play? Is it simple enough for them to play? Would the storyline interest them if they saw you playing it? I'm talking about parents like mine who don't play games at all or for the parents that give the wii a go every once in a while but that's it. Do you guys think the game will interest the non-gaming adults out there?  

Hell yeah, I will. My dad might be dead, but that's no reason for him to miss out on a great PS3 exclusive.

No (and sorry about your dad, badgenome). I'll probably get my girlfriend to watch me play, though. I just have to convince her that it's an old game that I've had for months, like I always do.

I will try, but my mom hates suspense of any kind (even in the movies) so while she might be able to control it, she likely won't want to.

Gonna Try my best my dad likes watching me play Uncharted 1 and 2 and i ask if he wants to try he says no but I think he might Play Heavy Rain instead of just watching me... or he'll just sit back and tell me what choices to make lol

No, Heavy Rain may be QTE's but it's still a pretty hard core game. Just because a control scheme is simple doesn't really broaden the appeal like that and I doubt the game no matter how good it may be will turn on the casual players.

Buuuuuut its over-rated!
