at OP: dont know how DI story is more complex than GOW. DI story is simple: Lucy (short for lucifer) has taken your fiance to hell and you follow him through the 9 nine circles of hell to get her back and by doing such, purify your sins and the ones of your fiance.

GOW has centred around the battle and history between Greek Gods and Titans, families, prophets and demons and war. It covers far more myths and legends than DI does. By all means, I am not saying DI has a bad story (I have read the book and bought the DI anime on Blu Ray), I am just saying the GOW story is more in depth and complex than the DI game.

What the reviewers have done marking the game down, I can somewhat understand, but I do think they have been harsh with too much comparisson to GOW series.

The problem is, DI took what GOW built and didn't do much to it and then Sony just released enough material on GOW3 to slap DI back to earth again and prove that DI has nothing on GOW3 (the leaked photo's off Kratos fighting a turantula on Gaia's wrist and fighting Poisedon).

So now, Journalists knowing what will be relased a month from now know that DI has delivered, but waiting a month will give buyers something far more better for their money.

I can assure you I do not suck at Mario Kart Wii. It is just a bunch of rehashed tracks and a downgrade from Double Dash as far as gameplay is concerned. I will take Mario Galaxy over NSMB any day. NSMB will never hold a candle to SMB3 which is the best Mario game of all time IMO.

When I first played the demo for dantes inferno only one thing came to mind....God of war wanna be im sorry but have you played the 2?theyre close to identical except god of war 3 has gods which are real cool

that tarantuala i guess is called leviathan on the dev diary, neways back on topic, i think OP clearly knows sony did not pay reviewers to give this game low scores, in fact im sure he knows sony paid ea to get the exclusive content, i mean why would sony pay teamxbox to give the game a 6.7...i think he made this whole thread for flamebait, theres no possible way he could be genuine and believe sony paid for the reviews...theres no way he could be that naive...

I'll let you know in a few days. EA is supposed to send me Dante's Inferno any day now and I'm playing through GOW collection as we speak.

OP: no i dont think so. my flatm8 just finishd playing DI, and when he finished it i showed him the e3 gow demo, and he already says gow looks better. From what I saw of DI though I think it deserves at least a 75-80, graphics let it down a lot, and that challenge level, god that was annoying 2 watch (and my m8 said it was worst 2 play)

look,it was obviously Death who paid them off as he wasn't happy about getting done in, Satan seeing this decided to bribe the rest and give sony some extras because he didn't want to star in a critical flop, thats why the reviews are mixed
