Didn't Capcom advertise this game on both, PS2 and Wii versions? It's a pity it sold so bad.

Okami was inspired by Zelda yes, but Twilight Princess was inspired by Okami.

No, they were developed simultaneously and came out the same year even.

I tried the game but just couldn't get into it. It's not that it was bad, I just hate games that throw walls of text at you for the first two hours.

If they hadn't done that I could definately see myself getting into the game, but that game just had such a huge barrier right at the beginning of the game.  One difference between Okami and Zelda is that Zelda manages to hook you without being blind-sided by text for the first few hours.

That was the biggest problem of the game for me....extremely text-heavy. And it's not just the first two hours. Otherwise I enjoyed it.

Even with its flaws, Okami managed to reach my top 3 best games I've ever played... I've finished it two weeks ago, after 58 hours of amazing play, it's a complete gem which unfortunately underperformed on charts. I'm glad they're making a sequel for this game on the DS. If you haven't played Okami and you're willing to, PLAY IT NOW! It's really an oustanding game and unique experience :)

I definitely will buy this game sooner or later. It's a pity the sales are so damn bad!
