Adding ammo weight makes the Strength stat more meaningful. I usually put it at 3 for a small guns character and had no trouble carrying what I needed.

Resident Evil in general kind of feels like that. Even RE4, I find, is like that a lot of the time.

No shout outs for Dead Space? I thought that was very ammo-conservy.  A lot like the original resident evils.  And an awesome game.
