But nintendo published both games. Rare made both games. The only factor thats different about the 2 is the bond license. Which is owned by Activision...DAMN YOU ACTIVISION!

@Cr33py P3rv: Nintendo published Goldeneye64 so they have the final say (at least some form of veto power) over that particular game in that form.
Perfect Dark was created, developed and published by Rare. They owned it in it's entirety.

Nintendo kept the rights to the Goldeneye game when Microsoft bought Rare, but Rare kept the rights to the game's code, and now that Activision owns the Bond license, the situations gets even stickier. Basically, it can only come out if all three companies come to an agreement.
