So we know this game will sell atleast 2 units LTD.

I can bet all my VGcharts money that will sell more than 800k before March 2011 (around 1 year after the WW launch)

My prediction is 80k japan, 450k europe, 350k NA by March 2011 and 1million+ Lifetime sales although nailing the breakdown or LTD isn't on the bet.

Well given the hype it should beat 800k no problems.

I dunno. My prediction is ~750k, 1 million if it was heavily advertised and/or somewhat bundled.

I just don't think the casual/general market is ready for this type of game yet. Even I don't know if I'm ready for it. I'm going to play it but I'm not sure what to think.

I'm just bumping this thread I made a bit before the game's release and almost everyone ridiculed me on my prediction about the game being a success. I predicted 400K first week and 1.5-2 million LTD...although I'm ecstatic that my prediction came true, I'm happier that the game got the success it deserves...HR is truly a remarkable and unique experience from start to finish and deserves all the critical and commercial acclaim it will get, and then some!
