That doesn't fix anything.  It still wouldn't be scary.  The fixed camera and the horror go hand in hand.

i shouldn't say fixed camera, but the camera has to be controlled by the game not by the player. You can see in the RE3.5 clip the camera pans around as you move.

Or maybe RE5 wasn't released on Wii.  Though Chris and more so Jill are two of the most popular characters and as such fans of Leon/Claire (mostly Leon since RE4) who get overshadowed by Chris/Jill often shun anything starring them.
