Crysis is just light years ahead of any game right now. Even U2.

I didn't played Mass Effect 2 so I can't comment on it's graphics vs U2.

I'm not the only one saying ME2 is the best. But it's all opinion anyway.

IMO, FM3 looks better than GT5P.

I never said DI had better graphics than GOW 3. I meant it looked more kick arse. ( Reviews have since said it's not ).

This thread has NOTHING...ABSOLUTELY NOTHING(!) to do with the PS3. Go away trolls. As for Mass Effect 2 being the best looking X360 game, I would have to say yes, it is. The difference from ME1 to ME2 isn't minor at all, the developers have said time and again that the amount of detail, and textures in ME2 far outshines ME1.

I'd agree with you on ME2 beeing the best, just not in graphics. And stating it's the best looking console game is seriously distorted view with pink fanboy glasses on. Have you actually played and finished the game? I did on PC with max settings, I have BioWare account to prove that. And the game, while beeing great upgrade over the first, is not even better looking than Gears 2 (yes, it has more colors and overally colorful setting, but that only makes it more visually appealing, not better looking).

It's the best looking game I've played on my 360. That's about as subjective as I can be.

Having said that, Miranda's mouth seriously creeps me out at times.

It's a definite improvement over the first in terms of technical acheivement (better streaming and faster loading) and a visual improvement as well. It's kinda hard for me to comment as I play most of my games (including ME2) on PC on higher settings than on 360 so I can't really say if its the best looking game on 360. It's definitely not the best looking this gen and even a number of multiplat games on PC look better. I definately wouldn't go as far as saying it's the best-looking game on consoles either as Uncharted 2 really blew me out of the water last year.

Overall, the textures are good, but there is still room for improvement, the animations are nice and a definite improvement on ME1 but I've seen better and the scenenery and vistas look cool, but again I've seen better.

Yes... ME2 has a lot improvements from ME original, but after all it's below Gears 2 in graphics terms.

Its massively a graphical improvement from ME
ME2 graphics are simply the best on the Xbox 360 Platform, Beats Gears of war 2 from what i've seen on my TV.
The character detail is Superb! ONE of the best i've seen around, The animation is great but what i was disappointed from was the fascial expression of each characters, its rather plain? Anyone agree with this? The lighting effects was impressive but i've seen better
Definitely its a massive jump from ME to ME2, the experience is amazing, I have a feeling ME3 is going to be CRAZY

Hmmm. . . so you're not going to let this go? No matter what it's just absolutely wrong for a person to think this is the best looking game? Their opinions can't matter because of some absolute truth that you are the caretaker of and must defend with your e-life? Mass Effect 2 is the best-looking game I have ever played. Is it the most technically advanced game? Probably not, but that wasn't the question. As a package, best looking game EVAR! For me. My opinion. You will not change that.
