What’s wrong with it? It looks like a decent design to me... I just wish we had some information on the game it appears in.

btw, I find it very odd that people are saying that the 5th genearion is coming too soon. Maybe they should look at release dates. Even if this game comes out in Japan in September, the 4th and current generation will hold the record for longest pokemon generation by one month. In other words, the 5th generation will be about one month too LATE. lol

I'm with Maneco. At the risk of sounding like an old man afraid to face new things, just put this guy among pictures of the original pokemon, it wouldn't belong there. Kinda liked the fan-art better actually :P

Also, for some reason his expression on the first shot remind me a bit of Ganondorf.

I mean, really, put his picture among tese pokemon. They may all be mean looking bipedals (I guess that's what you was looking for), but if you ask wich one doesn't belong, our new guy is still the obvious stand-out. Specially on closeup, he even has makeup and a ribbon on his hair...

It's the style that's off, at least I think so.

Really? Zoroark stands out a lot for me, but there may not be an objective truth here. Still, Mewtwo is supposed to be that one special pokemon. He's been created in a lab. He's this one guy among the other 149 (in case you decide to pick on Jynx :P). Even then, the style feels more similar to me.

I mean, it's kind of natural that designs made at about the same time by the same people tend to look more alike.

Zoroark is meant to be special too. Like Lucario, he has a special story behind him, even if he isn't legendary, and is getting a whole movie made about him.
