I have a confession to make. I never replayed MGS4 because I'm waiting for a trophy patch (Believe you me, not replaying a MGS is a crime! I replayed 1 and 2 countless times. Never replayed 3 because I hated it.). Even worse, I never played past Chapter 4 in Valkyria Chronicles because I'm still waiting for its fabled trophy patch as well!

So I'd like you guys to help me. While MGS4 will probably stay "unreplayed" for the time being, seing as a barrage of games that I want for the PS3 is about to release, I have to make up my mind about VC.

Do any of you think any trophy patch is still coming? Am I delusional in still hoping so?

It's not happening. VC is over a year old, and MGS4 a year and a half. Sega are busy with all sorts of things and Kojima Productions are making Peace Walker and Rising.

I have a little faith in Valkyria Chronicles, they have spoken about possibly thinking about the idea of adding it.

No way is MGS4 happening. I actually waited to do a second play through because of this. One thing that kept hope alive was that the firmware update that enabled trophies came out days (weeks?) before MGS4 launched.

I'd wait until the new DLC comes out for VC before losing all hope. MGS4 seems very unlikely at this point though.

Not likely due to the age but Star Wars the force unleashed proved me wrong so who knows.

MGS3 is THE BEST MGS so give it a try untill the end i also used to hate it but them found out is really good

I have yet to play more then 40min pf VC because I'm waiting for Trophies, SEGA said 'maybe' but that was months ago.

I thought Konami said they were going to make an announcement pertaining to MGS4 trophies? That was a while ago, though.

I say give up!

I would really love for them to patch VC with trophies, I loved that game and getting trophies for it would convince me to play it again!

I just have so many new games taking my time lately.
