I have tried to watch a full fotball match(american version) and a baseball match on TV... My god it's nothing like we see in movies.. I was so let down.. here I tought I would see touchdowns/fieldgoals or homeruns every 5 mins.... instead I had to watch people do nothing(ok not exactly nothing but you get the idea) for about 20 mins and then see what? 10 sec of action before starting again ... damn you movies



If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

Sorry it's soccer to the 'Americas'. People South of the Rio Grande would disagree I know. We're not changing the name for a rare discussion with people in 'others'. As a Canadian I should be a hockey fan first and I played a lot of basketball but I would rank sports like this. Football>Hockey>Basketball>Women's 3m Diving (Guo Jingjing) >Tour de France (guess who) >Baseball>You get the picture.

I would rank Video Games right behind the NFL as entertainment and ahead of all but the best movies.

I watch hockey! My roommate is a huge fan of the Colorado Avalanche, and so I've been watching their games this season. It's a lot better than watching football or soccer, as far as I'm concerned. However, I prefer playing soccer to the other two.

YEAH! Hockey is great because these guys get hit hard and get right back out there 82 times a year. Not like Football players who only play 16 times.

GO PENGUINS!!!

Plus, with hockey, there's a lot of action going on with a lot less breaks, compared to football with a lot of breaks separated by a little action. (It's not quite that bad, but it's not as exciting as hockey, IMO).

And it's always fun to see the fights.
