UC2 isn't over 100k, it's ~80k according to Famitsu.  The twin pack will probably push it (and UC1) over though.   No GOW ever has come close to 100k however, even on far more popular platforms (PS2, PSP).  Also, they have different publishers in Japan (Sony vs Capcom).

New Super Mario Bros Wii momentum won't last forever, at least I expect PS3 to outsell the Wii 8 - 10 times during the year.

Hokuto Musou in terms of sales will probably be the biggest PS3 game of this year, excluding of course Gran Turismo 5. I can easily see it over 400k units in its first week and although the PS3 has an established fanbase for this kind of game the hardware bump will be more than enough to outsell the Wii in that week.

I always defer to Enterbrain for JP sales.  They have greater coverage, and they have a larger database of publicly available sales.  Why not use them exactly?

VGC is reasonably close to to the other JP trackers (Enetrbrain/Famitsu, Media Create, Dengeki).  Any of them are really fine to use, the more numbers, the better imo.
