The weird thing is Amazon is in solid stock on the 120 PS3 for a while now which has been rare lately. Even as apparently brick and mortar stock has dried up. I'm guessing thats why the 120 is currently #2 on the charts whereas it's usually in the mid teens.

When I went to Wal Mart today, I saw about 5 120 GB PS3's. But no 360's or Wiis.

But this was in the display case. They may have had some of the other consoles in the back or something.

Maybe, retailers are just expecting updated models of the Wii, PS3 and 360.

120GB PS3 backorder on Gamestop Online and no Gamestop store within 15 miles of my location have 120 GB in stock and my local store has only (2) 250 GB models and they are back ordered online.

If there really is almost 3M unsold PS3's out there what are they doing with them? My local Walmart for example hasn't had a healthy stock of PS3 in a long while now.

Are they purposely holding them back?
