60GB B/C bought within a week of launch. It last till 1 month after warrenty and YLOD. Sony repaired it for free even though it was out of warrenty. Haven't had a problem with it since.

Mine only endured 4 games, I created a thread about it in the forums, it's the 40 gb version.

I've had the 60GB with BC since the European launch. She's still humming away just fine and she gets about 3-4 hours a day minimum.

Just hoping it never gives out on me.

The first time that I bought a ps3 was the 60 gig back in december of 06, that lasted less than a month. I went to Wal Mart and turned it back in for store credit and bought a 360. Then in Sept 07 I bought another 60 gig and haven't had any problems with this one. I sometimes go a week or two without using it then seemingly play it non stop. It has never froze or shut down on me.

Have an 80GB Motorstorm edition Ps3, and 2 more recent phat Ps3's....none have had an issue, not loud, studdering, freezing, nothing....and they're pretty used

Just waiting for that PS Vita to come out so I can play some full featured games on the go with that beautiful screen and control scheme...

My 60gig was 2 1/2 years and going before I traded it in for a Slim. No problems with the slim so far.
