Looking at preorders the ps3 version is mauling the 360 but preorders don't mean jack unless they buy the game. So my question is if the ps3 kills the 360 in sales is it possible that SE would reconsider being multiplat with main ff games? Somehow I doubt it but is it possible?

I mean what happened there.
but once adverts start it could change, I mean at first PS3's Battlefield Bad Company 2 was also destroying the 360 one, but now the 360 one's weekly sales are much higher.
I really hope it rises on xbox 360, I refuse to see a sub 200K opening for it on xbox!
I think that this is impossible. SE is a third party, and like all third parties, they want their games to make the max profit possible. Even if Final Fantasy for Xbox 360 get outsold, it will be profitable.
The same for the series in other systems. Like Wii, PC, Ds, etcetc.
well I believe the PS3 version of Final Fantasy XIII will do better just because of the whole"playing FFXIII on the PS3 feels right"(not saying this is true) many people(including me) bought a PS3 because of Final Fantasy XIII, so even though it is also going to the 360 I think the Final Fantasy fanbase already have/had a PS3.

No. Given the weak position of both the 360 and PS3 compared to the Wii and the ridiculous cost of developing FF XIII, multi-plats are going to be the way forward. Square needs this game to reach as many people as possible.

It will sell more on PS3 in both EU and NA, but the fact is that it's selling SOMETHING on 360, and probably quite a significant amount. If that amount is higher than the amount spent making a 360 version, then it was worth it. And then you have to take into account any...motivation they may (or may not) have had to create a 360 version, if you catch my drift.

I wouldn't be surprised to see it sell more on the 360 than on the PS3 TBH.
The Playstation 3 version is going to sell way more than the Xbox 360 version when it is released, that's a given.

Still this is looking to be one of the best JRPG #s for the 360
i say divide the 3 of units sold in NA by 1 million, mutilplay it by 100 and you get the % that another FF game will be ported to the 360 :P
o ya and that doesn't include FF14
