No it won't qualify. Why would it, if it releases in 2010? This is a sillly question.
Second, it won't release dec. 31.

Yes, it would qualify for our GotY awards for 2011 if that happened, but no, that won't happen. Ever.

They said they finished the game before releasing NSMBWii, waiting a year is silly.

Well, unless I am mistaken, as far as VGChartz GOTY goes, the game can only be considered for 2011 if the game isn't released anywhere in the world until 12-31-2010.

well then I must be mistaken, but wouldn't you agree that it would be silly to accept a game launched in 2010 as a candidate for the 2011 GoTY.  I mean, it was released in 2010, right?  Or am I missing out on something.
