I won't be getting it. I'm too fed up with the "simple boy is suddenly responsible with saving the world for reasons he couldn't control or foresee" story that WKC seems to have. My traditional JRPG patience meter is very low these days and in fact it only has room for FF XIII. And Persona 4 when I eventually find it at a decent price, since it's now a rare item.

Besides, with Heavy Rain, Bioshock 2, Final Fantasy XIII, God of War III and Darksiders to buy and play through, I'll have my hands full and bank account empty.

I got wonder how Sony feels about Level 5 at the moment, though. Sony pay the big bucks for Level 5's "blockbusters", meanwhile Nintendo and Square Enix get the actual goods (Prof. Layton, Dragon Quest - though the Enix guys do the game design on the latter).

Really, Hino needs to man up and realize he can't write a decent story to save his fucking life. Be a man and hire somebody else to work on that aspect for you! Yeah, you run Level 5, but that doesn't mean you're the best at everything.

Demon's Souls and valkyria Chronichles got great reviews.  I wouldn't simply chalk this up to "biased reviewers".

Yeah, IGN was unjustly harsh on the game (lately it seems they give a game a score either >8 or <6, depending on whether it lived up to the hype or wasn't as good as they expected it to be), but for the most part the reviews seem legit.

That being said, I've enjoyed what I've played so far, crap narrative nonwithstanding.

Level 5 games have always been about combat and entertainment 1st, story second. He has a way of making the most simplest of RPG story concepts.........stupid(Rogue Galaxy Star King anyone?). The only game from Level 5 that captivated me with its story was Jeanne D'Arc, whoever wrote that story should do the big games for now on.

WKC's story isnt that bad tho, Dark Cloud level of depth actually. Hopefully as this game progresses and in the recurring sequels the story becomes more dynamic(in a good way not the wonky dumb way alla 4D beings in SO3.........)

Was playing it all day its a decent JRPG but got some flaws (it very easy + combats needs to be more smooth like the first trailer and characters needs to have special attacks which define each character and makes him different from other characters but sadly WKC is repeating FFXII mistake by making all players a carbon copy of each other).
