it's not fair to say who won.to me and you sony did a good job,,to wii/ds fans ,nintendo did a good job and to X360 fans ....mmm....maybe E3.

As for gloryfying fanboys. X360 fans neve claimed their choice was TEH choice due to such huge falsedom as :

 

22 Teraflops or raw processing power that would favor research against Cancer

A Six-Axes and a Blu-Ray that were going to revolutionize gaming as we know

 

X360 fans were the most realistic out there.

RRoD sucks / XboxLive is expensive / the d-pad sucks / etc.

To me this was a game developers conference, where developers talk about developing and the game industry, anything about upcoming games are just a bonus... honestly I liked the announcement of R&C but I was kinda expecting it anytime now though I thought it would be E3 :P

Bigger news to me is developers actually taking note of the "90% club" which is an issue with many review sites and a lot of game fans and this site was a perfect example of, as so many started using 90%+ reviews to show their favorite games are better using Metacritic and such.  Now that is a shame and something people need to pay attention to and I hope doesn't fall on deaf ears.

How do you "win" the Game Developers Conference? By kidnapping the most developers? Giving the longest lectures? Packing the most seats?

If we're going off of content then Nintendo "won." Zelda: Spirit Tracks + firmware update + virtual console arcade + final fantasy X 8 + Rhythm Heaven demo = win. That's more than just trailers.

AJ you do know that GDC canada is here in vancouevr right(it's in couple of months),shane kim will be there(xbox devison's head)

i think it's open to everyone.

 

you and i should take a picture of kaz hirai in a large frame there and keep PS3 name alive over there.:P.will ahve signs that says no more X360.or the new slogan "PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW"

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

I lol'd really hard, seriously dude how do you win a conference?  Lets judge who talked the longest!

As far as games that were shown off to the public Zelda has topped my list as I really wasn't expecting that to happen, I'm glad to see FFIV the years after finally coming to the states via Wii Ware since it's my favorite Final Fantasy, and who wouldn't want to play as an overlord >:P
