In what comes across as a stretch even for the film industry, the soon-to-be-released PS3 title LittleBigPlanet is currently being developed into a full-length movie by infamous director, Uwe Boll. It seems that the petition to make him retire (titled, "Please, for the love of all that is good and holy, stop making movies!") was unsuccessful, as the German filmmaker, known for his painful celluloid recreations of popular game franchises like Alone in the Dark (2005) and House of the Dead (2003), will be at the helm of LittleBigPlanet: The Movie, slated to hit theaters in time for the busy 2009 holiday season.
