Its the best i can remember in the last 12 months, ill tell you that much

I wouldn't go that far but it's probably the best since the death of E3 at least. SGF in particular impressed this time.

Spyro 4, Cuphead 2, Stellar Blade 2, Rayman's resurrection, God of War, Ocarina of Time Remake, Xenoblade, and Final Fantasy VII Revelation... I might be young relative to others on this site, but I'd be shocked to see any other year compete. Though I have only kept up with the hobby since Summer 2017, so perhaps I'm missing a lot of data... but I stand with my point.

In any case it's by far the greatest Summer gaming season of presentations I've had the pleasure to witness.

Not even remotely close. Every E3 in the 6th gen was flooded with amazing and varied stuff. Not to mention E3 1999 with Dreamcast. This was the best SGF and I liked it more than 8th gen E3s but the best Nintendo E3 showing since the direct era is still 2019.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

Probably not the best ever, but it does feel like the first actual huge E3 season since it died

It's really more about the one or two games that are a megaton announcement on a personal level rather than a lot of big names.

It's undeniable a lot of big titles have been announced but I'd trade them all for just another Wipeout, Crash or Ratchet.

Spyro is the only new announcement that is really impactful to me personally.

I mean they could announce half-life 3 but other than for the internet reaction I wouldn't really care because I'm not a fan of the series.

One of the best indeed. There are 16 games in the list I'm planning to play

We are not.

The main thing is the digital format the companies do is not as fun as on stage presentations. Even SGF does that in a plain sort of way while the fun things that happened on stage and even the occasional cringeworthy moments during E3 added a lot of charm to the experience that I miss. Ubisoft is a good example in that their E3 presentations were way more fun than their digital Ubisoft Forward showcases.
