Seems like a good start for Switch 2, in a market they are traditionally weaker in.

GameCube was not that unpopular as i thought in the uk, hitting 1m in a bit less than three years ide not bad.
Based on Nintendo's size in the UK and the general appeal of the console.
So, NS1 still under Wii (8.4m).

And Ps4 is under Wii. Wtf
The order isn't random .

PS5 being below PS3 in the UK is pretty wild.

It has only passed PS3 in US/EU/Globally in the last holiday period so UK is not that far out from the rest of the world. (though there are no figures so maybe UK situation is closer to Japan for PS3 to PS5 comparison)

I find it wilder that the PS5 is still behind the XB1

Our estimates have PS5 ~100K behind Xbox One sales and ~500K behind PS3.

Damn, N64 and Gamecube were not only low sellers in the UK as expected, but Nintendo had to go down to the cheapest average pricing tier for consoles there to make them reach 1M+ sales in the UK, compared to that Nintendo being able to take Switch 2 to 1M at a PS/Xbox level price point speak volumes how much Nintendo has grown in the UK since the 90s and early 00s.

Not really lol. It's only passed just passed PS3 lifetime.

More notable is things like the Switch 1 being less than the 360 while being double globally.

Today I learned that Wii and 360 both outsold the PS4 in the UK.
