Tagged games:

Keeping up this thread series for another month, though for me it was very much a case of another month with a bit too many games ongoing and very little completed. At least I completed both the games I was almost done with last month! If anybody missed last months thread the point is literally just to write about what you played or completed the last month in whatever way you want. In my case:

Completed:

  • Dead Space (Remake)
  • Diablo II (original)

Playing:

  • Stellar Blade
  • Doom The Dark Ages
  • Danganronpa (continuation from last year)
  • Metroid Prime 4 (continuation from January)

Thoughts:

Dead Space was a really solid game even if it dragged a bit towards the end. In my book it's basicly just a more enjoyable BioShock.

Stellar Blade was defintely a game I underestimated. I expected it to be purely an action game but it's basicly Nier: Automata 2.0 and pretty much its equal so far despite a few pretty dumb design choices.

Doom The Dark Ages is another amazing game in terms of gameplay as you'd expect from them, the story is kinda whatever but honestly I don't mind the slight break of cinematics (even if it does feel kinda wasted).

The last two... I will eventually finish. I actually like Prime 4 a lot but the timing was just really unfortunate as I took a complete break from gaming before I completed it.

Ranking of games I've played so far this year (you don't have to replicate this I just like to go overkill):

  1. Kingdom Hearts III
  2. Resident Evil VII
  3. Dead Space (Remake)
  4. Balatro
  5. Diablo II
  6. Diablo

Worth noting that I was halfway done with three of those when the year started :P

Lots (I mean LOTS) of Civilization, Metroid and Chrono Trigger

Metroid Prime 4 Beyond & SMB2 USA at the very start (during Spring Break), SMBWonder DLC at the very end. Just got started with Kirby Forgotten Lands. Really hoping this game impresses!

I finished my replay of Fable 2 during March and am currently playing through Resident Evil Requiem. Mind you these are/were played while streaming on Twitch.

I for one really liked Forgotten Land. On par with all but the best 3D Marios in my book
