Nintendo will host a Nintendo Direct broadcast on September 12 at 6:00 a.m PT / 9:00 a.m. ET, featuring approximately 60 minutes of updates on upcoming Switch 2 and Switch games.

Metroid Prime 4 release date with a new trailer and some resolution/performance upgrades to Switch 1 games is what i'm looking forward to the most. Hopefully we get some first party unannounced games.

Metroid Prime, Fire Emblem and Xenoblade (or anything from Monolith Soft).

...Also if they have Switch 2 editions for Bayonetta games with 4k visual and 120fps performance modes, I might literally throw my wallet through the screen.

Call me crazy…but 3D Mario is coming sooner than we expect. (Nintendo’s been pushing a strategy recently of assigning EDPs to multiple projects, not solely one.) Mario movie will also be there, alongside a Metroid Prime 4 release date (opener?).

Will this focus on games coming this year or next? I'm thinking on buying a Switch 2 next year to play Duskbloods, but we still not have a release date

September 13th is Mario's 40th anniversary, so probably something Mario related. It could possibly be Mario Sunshine added to Switch Online, news on the next Mario movie, a new Mario collection, or maybe even a new 2D or 3D Mario game announced.
